Refund policy

Our return policy lasts 30 days from delivery. After 30 days, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights remain applicable where relevant.

Eligibility conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must:
  • have been used only for reasonable evaluation, fewer than 30 recordings in total,
  • be complete and in the same condition as you received it,
  • be returned in its original packaging with all accessories,
  • have obtained authorization from our support team.
Please do not return your purchase without prior authorization.
Additional non-returnable items:
  • gift cards,
  • downloadable software products.

Fixed refurbishment fee for returns not related to a defect

For any return requested for convenience, change of mind, or not fit for your intended use, and without a confirmed defect by our support, a flat amount of €700 will be deducted from the refund.
This fee covers in particular:
  • technical inspection and functional testing of the sensors,
  • cleaning, sanitization, and cosmetic restoration,
  • refurbishment, restocking, and depreciation due to use,
  • technical support already provided and administrative and processing costs,
  • logistics costs, replacement packaging, and payment fees.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or bank transfer as soon as possible.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Next, contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.If after all this you still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@ekico.fr.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded; unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at contact@ekico.fr and return your item to the address below:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves and then gave it to you, we will refund the gift giver and they will be notified of your return.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, return shipping costs will not be included in this amount.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged or returned product to reach us may vary.

For any shipment of an item over €75, we recommend using a tracked and insured service. We do not guarantee receipt of returns without tracking.
