The Metron-DVM bundle + touchscreen PC kit combines both the Metron-DVM software already installed on a powerful touchscreen PC and the Metron hardware kit. You have everything you need, in complete autonomy, to receive your orthopedic X-rays directly from your equine flat panel sensor.


Your Metron-DVM automatically connects to your flat panel sensor to control it and receive X-rays.

We take care to choose the most suitable touchscreen PC and install the Metron-DVM software on it. We can also adjust our choices according to your needs.

You receive your system configured and operational. You are also accompanied by our team during the setup of your technology and your first connections between your Metron-DVM and your flat panel sensor.
You benefit from assistance 7 days a week to answer all your questions, if you have any!

This kit is the ideal solution for equine veterinarians wanting a complete turnkey solution, integrating artificial intelligence and the power of Metron software for your equine orthopedic practice.
In addition, this tool offers you the generation of reports for perfect customer illustration very quickly.

Build a database of orthopedic X-rays on your PC. With Metron Blocks, your X-rays AND your photos are automatically measured by Metron-DVM software.

In complete autonomy, you can now receive, classify, analyze the X-rays of the horses for which you are responsible.

You will need to install the EponaCam app on your smartphone in order to be able to send the photos automatically to the Metron-DVM via the included Wi-Fi router. The application is available on the stores (Android and iOS).

Des mesures réelles, prises au centre du pied

Les mesures proposées par ce système, que ce soit sur les clichés radios ou photos sont une aide pour mieux comprendre les chevaux que nous examinons. Il apporte aussi des indications sur la façon et les raisons de comment se développent les pieds.
C'est un excellent outil de communication et d'explications lors de mes collaborations avec les maréchaux. Les images/mesures concrètes aident à mieux comprendre ce qui se passe dans les sabots et comment cela impacte les boîtes cornées.
Il est très intéressant d'avoir un support visuel réel et de pouvoir expliquer que mes décisions sont basées sur des informations objectives et pas seulement sur ce que je pense.
J'effectue régulièrement des avant/après avec les maréchaux-ferrants. Je prends des clichés radios et photos avant leur intervention en maréchalerie, nous échangeons sur les objectifs à atteindre pour chaque cheval. Puis je reprends les mêmes clichés radios et photos après l'intervention de maréchalerie. Avec ce procédé on constate si nous sommes allés dans la direction que nous souhaitions ou non.
Quelques fois, à la lecture des aplombs, de comment se déplace le cheval etc nous pensons à des stratégies à mettre en œuvre pour améliorer le cheval. Il peut arriver qu'en réalité nous n'ayons pas réussi à obtenir ce que nous visions. Les avants/après réalisés avec Metron-DVM permettent de s'assurer que nous améliorons réellement le cheval.
Enfin, j'utilise aussi ce logiciel pour le suivi orthopédique et de ferrures des chevaux. Toutes les 6 semaines par exemple selon les cas.

Very user friendly

Metron is more user friendly than any other software when it comes to sharing images, foot markups, and my ability to combine imaging studies in one shareable file be it Radiographs, Ultrasound, or Endoscopic exam.
